Ashley and Jess came to visit family in Alaska and see all incredible landscapes. They had eloped in a court house a year and a half before and wanted to do something adventurous to celebrate their love. Going on a helicopter glacier adventure session is about as adventurous as it gets in Alaska!!!
Seeing a glacier for the first time through the windows of a helicopter is a pretty incredible experience. You mix the stoke of seeing this ice formation that has carved the surrounding mountains for thousands of years with the thrill of a helicopter flight. You mix two very new experiences into one very memorable one. Not to mention those glacier blue pools! They were so dang blue it was wild to see.
We were so lucky to have such a beautiful, sunny day to go adventure. From being on the glacier, to overlooking the valley and seeing the Knik glacier flow from the mountains, it was a beautiful adventure with Outbound Heli. We even saw a moose and dall sheep on the flight back which was pretty special!
